Edoardo Nesi
Edoardo Nesi lives in Prato where he was born and where he has conducted the family textile company for 15 years before the closure in 2004. At the same time the passion for writing lead him to write the romans Fughe da fermo (Bompiani, 1995), Ride con gli angeli (Bompiani, 1996), Rebecca, (Bompiani 1999), Figli delle stelle (Bompiani, 2001), L’età dell’oro (Bompiani, 2004), Per sempre (Bompiani, 2010). He has also translate Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. Recently he writes Storia della mia gente (Bompiani, 2010) where he tells the events that led to the closure of family company strangled by chinese competition criticizing the italian economic policy.
